International Results Based Accountability Conference
A Gathering Using Modified Open Space Technology
October 5-7, 2009 Rockville Maryland

Who: All leaders using Results Accountability to improve performance of government and non-profit programs and the quality of communities.

What: The 4th International Results Based Accountability Conference: "Implementing Results Based Accountability: Successes and Lessons Learned."

Where: Hilton Washington D.C./Rockville & Executive Meeting Center, Rockville, Maryland (adjacent to Twinbrook Metro Station, 30 minutes from Reagan International Airport)

Why: To bring together people with a passion for improving performance of government and non-profit programs and the quality of life of communities and give them an opportunity to learn from each other. The gathering will use Modified Open Space Technology (MOST) so that everyone is both a teacher and a learner. You and your fellow participants will create the agenda* to accomplish this purpose and explore the following questions and more:

How can we turn the curve on the most important measures of well being?
How do we implement Results Accountability in organizations and communities?
Where are Results Accountability methods been sucessful?
What tools and help are available to support implementation?

* NEW FEATURE: Some preliminary sessions have already been designed to give potential conference attendees examples of sessions they can attend and potentially create.

Cost: The cost of the conference is $485 (or $425 for early registration by August 1). A minimum of 150 participants must be registered by September 1, 2008. The cost includes all conference materials, the opening reception on Monday, and breakfast/lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday. Rooms can be reserved directly at 301-230-6725 through the Hilton Washington D.C./Rockville (Group Name: Results Leadership Group) at the rate of $219/night. There is an optional pre-conference RBA 101 workshop with Mark Friedman on Monday, October 5th from 9AM-3PM - additional cost $185. Non-Conference participants can register for $385.
